Hz!
Hz is a two-piece mixed-media series inspired by the physical impact of extreme bass in car culture — the kind of low-frequency sound that seems to shake the entire vehicle. Both works feature a Dodge Hellcat, originally hand-sketched in Sharpie, then enlarged, digitally developed, printed in individual shapes and fragments, and reconstructed as a layered collage. The backgrounds are built with Montana spray paint, with additional acrylic paint, cut vinyl graphics, stickers, and black vinyl layered over the vehicle imagery. Both pieces are constructed on reclaimed Amazon shipping cartons, allowing the raw cardboard, seams, and imperfections to remain part of the work. The two pieces — 60–250 Hz and It Hz! — can be displayed together as a diptych or individually.
